Description |
A
good while back when SFA2 was just getting big in the arcades, and
issue Gamefan had a glitch trick that was nearly impossible to do.
It involved 2 players selecting Sodom and another character with
a crossover attack. The non-Sodom character would charge into custom
combo in midair, and throw an overhead at exactly when Sodom executed
is QCF+P counter. It would hurl the character out of their custom
combo blue-shadowed graphic, but the character would get up and
still be in CC mode. This means you can then whale on Sodom until
either his life or the time ran out.
The save loads at the point right after Ken gets up, and remember
that you have to use 2P to control him.

Description |
In
SFA2, the most popular hidden character is Evil Ryu. This evil form
has different moves (and kickass colors) such as multi hit Shoryukens,
the Ashura Warp, Shin Shoryuken, and Shun Goku Satsu. He is pretty
much what Ryu would be if he unleashed his "Evil Intent."

Whoa!
I didn't even know Shin Akuma was playable in SFA2! Oh wait... he
isn't, normally... Ah, another great perk of EMULATING CPS2. Well,
Shin Akuma kicks serious ass, has a double air Hadouken, a Shun
Goku Satsu that goes all the way accross the screen at twice the
speed (making it an ALMOST practical move :P), and plenty other
stuff. Now, if only whoever at emuarchive can do the blond version
of him (super saijin!). (Note: I don't like Dragonball, it's just
the blond Shin Akuma looks neeto :P)

Old
School History Lesson 1, back in the SF2 days, having a miss animation
when Zangief executed the Pile Driver at an incorrect distance would
have been detrimental. Why should the be any different now? That's
what the SFA2 team asked themselves, which led to adding Classic
Zangief. Though he doesn't have a super meter anymore, his re-incorporated
old Pile Driver not only takes more power, but also throws whatever
punch you use if not at the correct distance, removing the opening
you give your oponent if you dont execute it correctly.

Though
I don't find Classic Dhalsim to have as important differences as
Classic Zangief from his original, he is still a hidden character.
His most notable difference is he once again has a yoga fire that
travels the length of the screen.
